The Reception
The reception was held at the Bride's childhood residence in the backyard. During the cocktail hour and through the reception, guests were able to sit on Adirondack chairs, or play badminton, croquet, or cornhole. There was a catered buffet for dinner, and dessert included both cake and pie. S'mores were available in the evening. There was much dancing and merriment by all! The first dance was a choreographed Viennese waltz to Miracle to Me, a song by Denver and the Mile High Orchestra (highly recommend you check them out!!). During the toasts and speeches, the groom sang a rendition of Save the Last Dance For Me as a surprise. For the garter toss, the groom donned a fedora hat and carried a whip, fitting since the song played was the theme to the Indiana Jones movies! The bride and groom through a tunnel of sparklers.
